01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Pecora’s Creamery LLC, nestled at 99 Pecora Rd in the charming countryside of Drums, PA, offers a uniquely delightful experience that transcends the typical ice cream stop. This locally loved establishment is not just an ice cream shop — it’s a full-fledged dairy store, grocery spot, and even a lunch restaurant, making it a versatile destination for those craving fresh, handmade, and lovingly crafted foods in a warm, welcoming rural setting.

Visitors to Pecora’s Creamery are immediately drawn in by the rich aroma of homemade ice cream and the sight of happy cows lounging just outside the store, reinforcing the farm-fresh authenticity of the products. The creamery’s ice cream is a true highlight, boasting an impressive variety of flavors that range from comforting staples to inventive specialties like the crowd-favorite Teaberry and the intriguingly named Cookie Dough Coal Mine. Customers have shared glowing praise for the rich, creamy texture and perfect balance of flavors that truly bring each scoop to life. Interactive details, such as thermochromic spoons that change color with cold treats, add a playful touch to every visit.

The dairy side of Pecora’s offers more than just ice cream — visitors can purchase fresh milk in charming glass jars, a testament to the creamery’s commitment to quality and sustainability. Local goods such as honey, bakery items, candies, and farm-fresh eggs further enhance the store’s appeal, making it a community hub for authentic, small-batch, handcrafted foods. As one satisfied visitor, Daniel Dallas, put it, “It’s all handmade there, and they also have a lot of local vendors... it’s a cool store and a must try.”

Remarkably, Pecora’s Creamery surprises guests with an underrated gem: their wings. From casual passersby to local regulars, feedback consistently highlights these wings as some of the best around — a savory treat that beautifully contrasts with the sweet, creamy ice cream offerings. Jeff Wieland’s review captures this sentiment perfectly: “I have never expected to have some of the best wings I ever had... from a creamery, BUT I WAS WRONG.” Whether you’re stopping in for a quick snack or settling down for a relaxed lunch amidst the peaceful pastoral surroundings, Pecora’s manages to impress on multiple fronts.

The staff at Pecora’s add an extra layer of charm and warmth to the experience. Friendly servers provide thoughtful recommendations, guiding guests through their delicious menu with genuine care. As Bernice Zimunya recalls, the staff’s hospitality made her ice cream detour truly worthwhile.

In essence, Pecora’s Creamery LLC offers far more than treats; it’s a refreshing countryside escape where you can savor homemade dairy delights, support local artisans, and enjoy friendly, unhurried service. Whether you come for the ice cream, the wings, or the unique grocery finds, this hidden gem makes every visit memorable, inviting you to linger a little longer and indulge a little deeper.

Was only passing through the area and I had a strong craving for ice cream , so Maps led me to Percora. They had a wide variety of flavors to choose from, it took me forever to figure out what I wanted. The server, a very friendly young gentleman suggested I try out their Teaberry flavour and I was all for it. Long story short, it really hit the spot and I’m definitely making a detour next time I’m on the highway!

Rich, creamy ice cream in a delightful dairy setting. There are many standard flavors as well as novel flavors like cookie dough coal mine. Dished ice cream came with a delightful thermochromic spoon that was yellow and turned blue when holding cold ice cream. Cute store. Cows were hanging out outside. I love this place. Plus MOUSE NIBBLER cones!
